Get the kids involved this summer at our 2025 Youth Summer Camps at Living Word Lutheran High School! We offer a wide range of sport camps for kids of all skill levels! All of our camps are open to ALL kids in the community.
LUNCH BREAK -- If your child attends multiple camps on the same day, we offer a one-hour break for campers to bring their own lunch to eat in between camp sessions. There are plenty of weeks where your kids can stay at our camps for most of the day!

Registration
Registration for camps is done all online - it is fast, quick & easy. All of our camps are open to ALL kids in the community.
​
Because we have to place our t-shirt order in advance, please register by April 30, 2025, to guarantee a t-shirt for your camper. Sign-ups can be taken up to 7 days before the camp start date, but we cannot guarantee a t-shirt if you sign-up after April 30. Thank you!

Refunds will only be given for registration cancellations made at least 2 weeks before camp starts. Partial refunds will be considered under "special" circumstances, such as a family emergency or an unexpected hospitalization of the camper.

Camps are subject to cancellation due to insufficient attendance numbers. We do everything in our power to not cancel any of our camps. If the event a camp is canceled you will be notified via email, and a FULL refund will be given.

Capacity Limits
Some of our camps do have capacity limits. We fill them based on a first-come, first-serve basis - so sign up quickly! If a camp is full, please email John Winter at jwinter@lwlhs.com to be placed on our waitlist. If you register and we have exceeded our capacity limit, a full refund will be given.​​​​​​

Camp Costs & Discounts
If your child is in more than one camp, we offer a multi-camp discount. This discount is for individual campers attending multiple camps and is not intended for siblings who each attend one camp.

​Camp Offerings
Grade Levels are for entering Fall 2025 school year. See below the full slate of LWLHS Youth Summer Camp offerings (listed by date offered). All camps are 4-days total from Monday through Thursday.

Lunch
For those attending both a morning & afternoon camp on the same day, we have 1-hour scheduled in between camps for kids to bring their own lunch to eat. We will have a spot for them to relax, eat, and get ready for their afternoon session!

Summer TOUGH
This is an unique summer workout program designed to develop an individual as a more explosive, agile, and better endure athlete. This program focuses on using body weight to prove a safe and easy way to improve functional strength and movement.

Current 7th-8th grade & Incoming or current LWLHS students in 9th-12th grade.

Every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday from 5:00-6:00 PM

JUNE 16-19, 2025

Boys Basketball: 6th-8th from 9-11 AM; 3rd-5th from 12-2 PM

The boys basketball camp will focus on offensive and defensive skill development including ball-handling, passing and shooting fundamentals. Contests, competitions, and team games will be a part of daily activities.

Football: 3rd-5th from 9-11 AM; 6th-8th from 12-2 PM

The football camp focuses on developing essential offensive and defensive fundamentals. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced player, this camp emphasizes skill improvement through individual and group instruction, as well as team games. This is a non-contact camp (no pads or helmets), and all team games will be played as flag football.

Choir: 6th-Incoming Freshman from 9-11 AM

Bring your VOACL talent and join us for a week of music and fun! improve your vocal range, and develop your singing skills in an exciting and supportive environment. Mini-concert on the last day for friends and family!

Theater: 6th-Incoming Freshman from 12-2 PM

This camp is for students who are interested in theatre/drama. Featuring scenes and songs from top Broadway shows. On the last day of camp, campers will perform a mini-show for friends and family.

Band: 6th-Incoming Freshman from 2:30-4:30 PM

Bring your instrumental talent and join us for a week of music and fun! Open to students with at least one year or school band experience. Mini-concert on the last day for friends and family!

JUNE 23-26, 2025

Runners (co-ed): 5th-Incoming Freshman from 9-11 AM​

The Timberwolf Runners Camp offers athletes the opportunity to focus on summer conditioning (cross country) and adding new elements of track events like jumps and hurdles. Each session will include stretching, endurance conditioning, injury prevention, and nutrition.​

Soccer (co-ed): 5th-Incoming Freshman from 12-2 PM

Soccer camp provides players a rounded soccer experience covering a broad range of soccer techniques, skills, and tactics. Players will be challenged at an appropriate level while receiving instruction in a fun, positive environment.

Art (co-ed): 1st-4th grade from 9-11 AM; 5th-8th grade from 12-2 PM

Art Camp will encourage and inspire kids to explore painting, drawing, and sculpture. It will be a fun-filled environment for students of all levels of art experience, as projects will be adapted to meet the levels of students. Dress to get dirty (smocks, etc).

JULY 14-17, 2025

Dance: 3rd-8th from 9-11 AM

Designed to teach a variety of different dance styles. Campers can come with NO dance experience and learn a great deal or they can come with a lot of experience and be challenged while expanding their skill set. The last day will include a performance for guests

Girls Basketball: 4th-8th from 12-2 PM

The girls basketball camp will focus on the fundamentals of the game, including shooting, passing, dribbling and defense. Contests and team games will be part of daily activities.

Girls Volleyball: 5th-8th from 2:30-4:30 PM
-
The girls volleyball camp takes the energy and excitement of this great team sport and puts it all together into one fun-filled camp. All aspects of the game are taught through drills and exercises that focus on passing, setting, hitting and serving.​

The Scoring Camp is open to ALL boys and girls in the community entering 2nd-8th grade and will focus on offensive skills, scoring and shooting. All campers will receive a t-shirt and individual awards will be handed out to camp competition winners.​
